Grampian Fire and Rescue Service is the statutory fire and rescue service for the area of Grampian, Scotland. The service provides emergency cover for residential areas, as well as providing it for a local Industrial harbour, oil and gas terminals and a commonly used heliport.[1]

FRS area

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service covers the geographical areas of the Moray Council, Aberdeenshire Council, and Aberdeen City Council. The population served is around 530,000, rising to around 850,000 in the summer months and tourist seasons. [2]

The headquarters is located at 19 North Anderson Drive, Aberdeen, AB15 6DW. Additionally, there are six-full time and over thirty part-time fire stations. Currently there are:

The Grampian Fire and Rescue Service is unusual in operating distinctive white painted fire engines. Other UK fire services operate red painted vehicles.
